The 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 provides flexibility with its cab configurations, offering a choice between a single cab (or regular cab), double cab, and crew cab. The single cab, also known as a regular cab, features a traditional design with one row of seating, which provides more bed space for hauling or towing. The double cab configuration includes two rows of seating and rear doors. However, the rear offers limited seating space. On the other hand, the crew cab offers the most spacious option with a larger cabin, four full-sized doors, and a full second row of seating.

Towing capacity
The GMC Sierra 1500 can tow up to a little more than 13,000 pounds at maximum towing capacity.

Safety features
Besides the additional safety features, which may vary for different trims, all 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 models include the GMC Pro Safety features. These include Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Buckle to Drive, and IntelliBeam.
